Hobbieland
It started in San Francisco at the Club Rendezvous, then they opened the Endup where Steve N., and I -- DJ'd for Randy Johnson and the Endup''s Jockey Shorts Dance Contest -- "One ringie dingie". More of this in my bio. Saturday night seemed like a long night to spin records (9pm to 2am). The header of my website -- the photo -- is me in the DJ both at San Francisco's Dance Your Ass Off in 1975. Photo credit: Max Hellweg of Rolling Stone Magaine.
Music Edit / Sound Mix. I've been doing sound mix and remixes since the 70's when I was working with McCune Sound and with Bruce Tronson (pic right) of Tronson Sound. In the evenings I was a club DJ in San Francisco at the Endup and many other clubs. You can download a few sound edits and remixes HERE. We recreated a 1979 disco show from a 2002 dance event into one CD with new tracks. There is a MP3 of the entire CD to download. There are full CD copies floating around LA. The CD is known as Discology 101. Download your copy today.

We now do all the pre-production for "Best In Show", a benefit for Aid for AIDS. This year''s 2008 event at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles helped raise over $350,000 for this #1 worthy cause.
MotorBikes: My new favorite hobby is motorbike riding. Yes, that is my 1994 Kawasaki Police 1000 over there direct from the Los Angeles Sheriff Department, West Hollywood Motorpool Unit 524, complete with lights and all the buttons. The siren was removed so I would not get in trouble. She now has had a paint job and will get new lights and seat for the boy in a few weeks.
I decided from the beginning to do it correct. I attended the Westside Motorcycle Academy and passed the written class and motor course parts of the class.Â
The gals that ran the class were informed and smart. They made the project, enjoyable and a valued experience. I recommend this Academy to anyone starting to ride, or who like me, has not been on a motorbike since high school.
Next I discovered that like many a hobby, it is the goodies that run up the bill. The helmet, gloves, boots, pants and shirt, and lastly a coat or two all ran the ticket higher.
Lastly paying off the bike and going to DMV for both my new drivers license and pink slip for the bike was an experience. Fortunately my auto insurance company Progressive made it easy for my to insure the bike also.Â
A little Acting (on the side) is fun.  If you are watching the 2008 film, "Three Stories of Evil", don''t blink -- you''ll miss me. The film has won 4 awards and more appear to be in the works.
